Engineer Tadele Bitul Kibrat’s Historic Contribution to the Return of the Axum Obelisk

Engineer Tadele deserves the utmost appreciation and thanks for his amazing effort that lasted 17 years for the return of historic Axum Obelisk from Rome, Italy to the rightful owner, Ethiopia.

It’s hoped that the quest of the struggle for justice on behalf of Ethiopia would continue so that the still required adequate reparations by the Italian Government would be achieved as well as the other requirements, namely, the restitution of the huge quantities of looted Ethiopian properties, the recognition by the UN of the Fascist Italian war crimes on Ethiopia, a Vatican apology to the Ethiopian people for its complicity with the Fascists and the removal of the Graziani mausoleum established at an Italian town called Affile.
